“I have known Lisa for over 7 years. I found her yoga studio at a time when due to old injuries I was having trouble standing and walking. Through chair yoga, private sessions, and later on classes and restorative yoga, I regained my mobility and strength. She also taught me how to deal with anxiety and calm my soul. Lisa went from teacher to good friend.”
The seeds of yoga were planted deep within me from the time I was a child. I recall hearing my father’s stories of growing up in India and Nepal where his father worked for the World Health Organization. These seeds bloomed and led me to share the teachings of yoga for nearly the last 20 years.
In 2010, I explored the world of yoga studio ownership. I walked that path for 8 years and had the privilege of meeting so many amazing people until the Universe intervened and forced me to do something I couldn’t bring myself to do…walk away. This was one of the hardest things I have ever done. The feeling of disappointing others and letting people down was unbearable, but what was more overwhelming was my exhaustion, my anxiety and my burnout. My burnout was so debilitating that it took me over a year to reclaim my life.
As a recovering overachiever I can tell you that burnout is real. It is an epidemic in a society that glorifies being busy. It wasn’t until I was forced to close my studio that I was able to reflect upon the path that I had been walking. In a world that measures success by the amount of items on your calendar, I was blind to seeing just how burnt out I was and for how long. This profound experience led me to my true path of serving others so that they can recover quicker, or better yet, recognize the signs of burnout before its too late.
I’m here to tell you that burnout is not a badge of honor. I’m here to tell you that I have been there and that you are not alone. I know how you feel and I can help. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Let me show you.

Having been a yoga teacher for nearly 20 years, I feel immense gratitude for the teachers that have come before me and shared their teachings with me.
My students and private clients have described my teaching style as inspirational, educational and motivational. As an educator, I appreciate the perspective I have gained from teaching across the country and internationally and enjoy infusing those experiences in my classes.
In my teaching, I value sharing yogic philosophy, the how’s and the why’s, and not just treating a yoga practice as calisthenics. Infusing mindfulness, meditation and positive affirmations in my teaching allows my students to experience moments of bliss on the mat so they can take their bliss off the mat.
I look forward to sharing my passion for yoga and inspiring your practice.FIND A CLASS

So many things to do, so little time! Board meetings to baseball games, keeping up with the Joneses as well as keeping up with the laundry. Running a business and running to appointments. So. Many. Things! As recovering overachiever, I’ve been there. I GET IT and I can help! I specialize in coaching women to restore balance after burnout and create a life of bliss. Having witnessed the benefits of both yoga and life coaching first-hand, I love combining the two practices to create a well-rounded experience for my clients. Together, we explore what’s working and what’s not. We look at where you are and where you want to be. Most importantly, we identify what roadblocks are keeping you from living the life you deserve…a life of bliss.
